The Tern Vektron Q9 has updated styling, a new colour, and a larger more powerful motor. The folks at Tern have kept an open mind when digesting user feedback from their debut Vektron. The result has been the subtle optimization of an already competent folding electric bike. Not everyone needs the extra power found in the Vektron S10, so the new Tern Vektron Q9 has been upgraded to the Bosch Active Line Plus for up to 270% more assistance and 50Nm of torque.
The 400Wh Bosch PowerPack battery has enough punch to keep the Vektron purring right up a steep incline under a full load of cargo. The updated frame design with a reclining battery creates a lower center of gravity and a better ride.
The last notable upgrade in the model is the Atlas Rack itself. Not only does it have a higher weight capacity and can work seamlessly with Thule Yepp Maxi and Nexxt Maxi child seats but they've adapted the design from their GSD model, allowing you to stow the Vektron in an upright position to save space.
The Vektron Q9 can quickly be adjusted in seconds to fit riders 147 – 195 cm (4’10” – 6’5”) so a single bike can be shared by more than 1 user. Now that's smart!
